Top Dog Talent Contest
Pleasant Paws Pet Center is delighted to announce the Top Dog Talent Contest. This contest is open to any Resident of USA. Dog owners should submit a short video of their pup doing their best trick. The Top Three dogs will then face a panel of judges selected by Pleasant Paws Pet Center.

Guidelines for the contest
- You must be a USA Resident and be at least 18 years old.
- You may only use positive dog training methods using only positive reinforcement.
- Please begin your video by addressing the camera by introducing yourself, your dog, and the date of your video.
- Your video should not be more than 3 minutes in length.
- No prior recorded videos may be used.
- The Maximum file size allowed is: 100MB

WINNER
The first place winner will receive
$500 plus a collection of treats and toys.
SECOND PRIZE
Second place winner will receive $250 plus a collection of treats and toys.
THIRD PRIZE
Third place winner will receive $150 plus a collection of treats and toys.
Meet the Judges

Matt Barnes
Matt Barnes is a current relief pitcher for the Boston Red Sox. Matt was a first round draft pick from the University of Connecticut in 2011 and he made his major league debut in 2014. Matt was a 2018 World Series Champion and married his wife, Chelsea, in January 2019. They currently live in Newtown, CT, and love spending their off-seasons traveling and spending time with their yellow Labrador Retriever, Cali.

Anne Eckersley
Like many exhibitors, I did not grow up showing dogs so it was not until I was an adult that I purchased my first Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and embarked upon learning how to show a dog as well as breeding Cavaliers. My first foray into dog shows was in obedience. I also breed Tibetan Spaniels.

Margaret A. Reed
Margaret A. Reed, PhD, is the coauthor of the best-selling book, The Dogs of Camelot, an AKC dog show judge, thoroughbred racehorse owner, principal of Canine Training and Behavior Services LLC, and she serves on the board of Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, James A Baker Institute for Animal Health.
